About Us

A network of networks.

A thought leader.

genARTS is your hub for arts & culture leadership.

Mission: genARTS Silicon Valley empowers creative individuals and emerging arts leaders.

Vision: We envision a thriving arts community in Silicon Valley that draws on a strong network of emerging individuals who are prepared to serve as the next generation of leadership.

HISTORY

genARTS Silicon Valley is dedicated to assembling, supporting, and empowering a thriving community of arts and culture leaders who are prepared to guide and serve this region’s arts and culture community of tomorrow.

Founded in 2007, we serves emerging arts and cultural leaders and bridges communication between emerging, midcareer, and established leaders through our programs and events.

In 2023, genARTS transitioned from being a program of SVCreates to being fiscally sponsored by SVCreates. As such, we are 100% volunteer-run and value partnerships and collaborations

Focused locally on San Jose and Silicon Valley as a whole, we maintain important statewide connections across California and keep an eye on the national conversations in the arts and culture sector.
